Sara Hwang has been one of the longest serving practitioners in the Korean executive search industry. During her over twenty-year career, she has completed numerous search assignments filling top to middle management positions for multinational firms operating in Korea. These assignments extend over a broad range of disciplines, including senior management, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, operations, and engineering. Her clients include large, well-known multinational firms that are acknowledged as leaders in their respective industries. Sara's work in
executive recruiting began when she joined Boyden International in February 1988.
She was appointed a Managing Director of Boyden Seoul in 1995. After ten years
with Boyden, she wanted to move on to new challenges and opportunities.
Therefore she resigned her position in late 1998 at Boyden Seoul as well as her
shareholder at Boyden World Corporation. Prior to starting her own practice as
Goldwin Executive Search in late 2000 (subsequently renamed Future Consulting),
she worked at a local venture firm as a board member.
Sara received her BA in English Literature in 1981 and MBA focusing on Human Resources and Marketing in 1992, both from Korea University. In 1997, she completed the Executive Program at the Kellogg Business School of Northwestern University, Chicago, USA. She also earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Denver, Colorado, USA in 1987.
Born in Seoul, Sara has frequently collaborated with foreign colleagues on cross border assignments. She has a keen insight and understanding of the international business environment as well as the Korean and Asian business cultures. She has successfully developed a reputation in the market for providing client service of the highest quality, and commitment to the highest world class standards in the executive recruiting industry. Since joining Future Consulting in early 2007 as Senior Consultant, HK Kwon has actively provided his expertise in human capital search for IT companies. He brings to Future Consulting his twenty years of diverse and dynamic experience, knowledge and professional networks accumulated through his experience in both multinational and conglomerates. HK's main search specialties are in nano technology & software, internet & wireless service, semiconductor design/manufacturing/equipment, and digital appliances/media. He has successfully filled varied search assignments including engineer, FAE, programmer, sales, marketing, planning, and purchasing positions.
While working in the dynamic and fast-changing IT industry, he has met numerous IT professionals and business group leaders and realized all shared a common view. HK began his working career in December 1986 with the Overseas Sales Dept. of Daewoo Telecommunications. After 10 years of sales experience at Daewoo, he moved to Sun Microsystems as Sales Manager, where he worked for 6 years after which he changed his career focus to HRD consulting. He worked at ASK Learning Korea as HRD consultant and lecturer. Later, he set up his own HR consulting firm INNOHR, focusing on IT professional search and human resources development/training. He facilitated numerous seminars and workshops primarily for IT companies including Samsung Networks, Hanaro Telecom, Kolon, Cisco Systems, AD Semiconductor on topics such as strategic sales skills, blue ocean strategy, communication utilization by attribute analysis, etc.
HK Kwon is a coach certified by Korea Coach Federation and is a well known lecturer with the Korea Lecturer Association. He earned his BS in material engineering in 1987 and his MBA focusing on MIS in 1999, both from Korea University. He presently serves as the Representative Secretary of Korea University's MBA monthly IT Forum. In addition to providing his expertise in human capital search, HK also conducts training and consulting to facilitate positive change and synergy maximization for client organizations, and career coaching for individuals.

Dr. Ko joined Future Consulting in early 2008 as Senior Life Consultant. He brings to Future Consulting his twenty five years of diverse and dynamic background, knowledge and professional networks accumulated through his experience in both multinational and local firms.
Dr. Ko graduated from Seoul National University in 1978 with a BA in education and earned a MBA degree from Korea University in 1980 while a full time teacher at a middle school in Seoul. After that, he went to the United States for further study at the University of Denver, where he was awarded a MPA in Public Administration, MA in International Relations and completed Ph.D. coursework in International Relations. He later earned a Ph.D. in Education from University of Denver in 1987. Dr. Ko subsequently returned to Korea and worked at both multinational firms and Korean Red Cross for over twenty years.

The combination of his wide ranging experience, post graduate education in a broad range of academic disciplines, and his subsequent training in holistic personal development modalities in stress management, certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and as a certified hypnotist makes Dr. Ko particularly qualified to counsel upper management from both the public and private sectors.
